New
Far less heavy than a full haubergeon and more protective than simple mail voiders, the half haubergeon was often worn by men-at-arms wishing to maximize their protection, especially in Italy.
It was also quite convenient for the common soldier wearing brigandine and wishing to protect their arms without burdening themselves with the weight of a full haubergeon.
Our haubergeons are made of properly riveted mail like all real medieval originals. Their strong 9mm 17G rings make them ideal for heavy fighting and competitive "Pas d’Armes".

The word “chainmail” is a modern neologism. Our medieval ancestors simply use the word “mail” or “maille” ;)
